Located in Corunna/Owosso, Michigan — The Catvalier Lounge is a cozy cat lounge where you can relax and recharge in the company of adoptable cats from the Shiawassee Humane Society. Whether you’re looking for a unique way to unwind or hoping to meet your new best friend, we offer a calm, inviting space where you can sip, snack, and snuggle.
We host a rotating selection of 5–7 cats, specially chosen by the Humane Society to ensure a safe and joyful experience for both our visitors and our feline guests.

Book Your Spot
Reserve a 60-minute session online or by calling at Defying Gravity Bakery Café. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows!

Visit the Lounge
Check in at Defying Gravity Bakery Café, grab a drink or treat (optional!), and head into the cat lounge to relax with adoptable cats.

Love a Cat? Adopt!
Fall in love? Our cats are adoptable through the Shiawassee Humane Society — just scan the QR code at the entrance to the lounge!
Reservations & Pricing
Walk-ins are welcome when space allows. To guarantee your spot at the cat lounge, we recommend booking in advance by calling Defying Gravity Bakery Café or selecting an appointment online.

Respect the Catmosphere
To ensure a safe and peaceful experience for everyone in The Catvalier Lounge — humans and felines alike — we ask that all guests follow our house rules. Be calm, move slowly, and let the cats come to you. They’ll let you know when it’s time for pets or play!
Age Restrictions
- Children, 15 years’ old or younger, must be supervised by an adult
Respect the Cats
Let the cats approach you and give them space when they show they’d rather be alone.
Be gentle and calm
- No cats may leave the lounge
No outside pets allowed
Respect the Space
No loud noises, running, or roughhousing
Drinks must not be left unattended
Photos and videos are welcome—no flash, please
We are not responsible for allergies or injuries
- While we cannot allow outside food and drinks, you are welcome to consume food and drinks purchased at Defying Gravity Bakery Café before or during your visit
Please Note
We do not accept cat drop-offs. All cats are provided through the Shiawassee Humane Society. Please contact them directly regarding surrendered animals.

All adoptions are processed through the Shiawassee Humane Society. To begin the adoption process, please contact the Humane Society directly:

Please Note
Adopted cats must remain on-site until we receive official confirmation from the Humane Society that the adoption has been approved and finalized.
